Campus Federal proudly supported “An Evening for Healers,” the annual, signature fundraising event for the LSU Health Sciences (LSUHS) Foundation in Shreveport. This inspiring event celebrates the exceptional work of first responders and healthcare professionals in the Northwest Louisiana community who dedicate their lives to saving lives.
The event featured powerful patient stories from Mackenzie and Clayton, two individuals who overcame traumatic medical challenges. Guests were moved to hear about the incredible care provided by the local “Healers” who played a crucial role in their recoveries. Since its inception, “An Evening for Healers” has shared 29 moving patient stories, honored over 930 dedicated first responders and healthcare heroes, and raised more than $4 million for LSUHS.
Funds raised through the event support LSUHS in recruiting and retaining top faculty, acquiring cutting-edge technology and equipment and supporting programs for students across all three LSUHS schools – the School of Medicine, School of Allied Health Professions and the School of Graduate Studies.
Campus Federal is committed to supporting the vital work of Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and the dedicated healthcare professionals who serve our community. By participating in “An Evening for Healers,” we are honored to contribute to their ongoing mission of providing compassionate and high-quality care.
